The pilot of the World War II contemporary hero, saved his family’s life and vowed not to waste one moment after he survived targeting the Nazis. But he died of being infected with Corona virus at the age of 96.

The British Daily Mail newspaper mentioned that the champion of the Royal Air Force John Moore spent the Second World War in saving the lives of people, including his sister during the bombardment of Liverpool city, and before 18 years he was served as a pilot.

But John survived the accident, and spent a month in hospital to recover.

His friend Lindsey Alford said that John, the humble, always joking that he joined the Royal Air Force only to escape the bombardment.


Lindsey also referred to what John said about how his experiences with war changed him, and that he pledged not to waste one moment, and to live till the end, adding: “John maintained his promise, and became inspired to all those who knew him”.
John was born in Liverpool on June 14, 1923, Welsh and Irish. He then moved to Aberthin village with his late wife Mary.



During the bombing of Liverpool from 1940 to 1941, he worked in the Civil Defense Unit. They have been carrying out the task of removing the incendiary bombs and withdrawing the population from the collapsed buildings.
John was only 17 years old when he saved his sister Neil and her two-year-old son now, who would stand inside a hardened closet under the ladder.
